Vice President, Operations

The ConnecTV Social TV Platform launched June 12th live across the entire United States. We are merging social media with broadcast television to lead a completely new, engaging and social television viewing experience. We have built a very ambitious Social TV platform. We are looking for an executive with significant experience managing operations for a online service organization. Most desirable would be digital media, social media, SaaS or large consumer e-commerce background.

The executive will oversee these three functions:

  • Network Infrastructure: IT/Network Infrastructure Manager
  • Customer Support Organization: CSR Manager
  • Ad Operations: Ad Ops Manager

Previous experience leading or working very closely with these above functions is essential. We require someone with exceptional communication skills, work ethic and tremendous passion for new technology, television and social media. Product Management Leader

The Product Management Leader will define the product roadmap and product requirements for the ConnecTV platform that will lead to success in the marketplace. Your role is to understand the competitive landscape, the needs of both our consumers and partner services, and then to plan the scope and timing of product releases to optimize ConnecTV's business strategy, financial goals, sales opportunities, and technical capabilities. You lead the product lifecycle through each stage from product definition, design, development, release, migration, and end-of-life.

This is an Executive Level role, however, we need someone who can also be hands-on and dynamic in a small start-up environment.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • The primary responsibility in this position is to contribute to the product roadmap, define end user requirements for the ConnecTV platform releases, and guide the development process through delivery
  • You'll produce deliverables throughout the product lifecycle, including product requirements, product roadmap, release acceptance criteria, and customer migration path
  • You'll have exceptional communication & presentation skills and ability to influence others within the executive team, development, marketing, and with our partners.
  • You'll collaborate with the user experience and development teams on product design, functional requirements, prototyping, and user testing
  • You'll have a key role in driving market leading improvements into the platform
  • Serve as a leader of process improvements; you help ConnecTV develop best practices around product strategy, planning, design, development, product release, and client management
  • With ConnecTV business goals in mind, you optimize monetization opportunities, contributing to our business model and forecasts
  • Significant experience leading a Product Management organization for a major consumer digital brand / service required. Background with a major social networking service is highly desirable.

Product Manager, Sports

This position will have a special emphasis around Sports focused products, features and programming, however, you will also get your hands around other Television genres as well. What we would LOVE to see is a sports fanatic who lives and breathes multiple sports at both the Collegiate and Professional levels. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of a technical project ensuring the final expectations are met. You will also be overseeing every facet of ConnecTV from a technical standpoint and streamlining strategies to make internal operations in the company more efficient.

You will communicate with all departments within the organization to ensure that all deadlines are being met, as well as report back to company executives with the status of projects. You will be managing complex technical requirements and client relationships. Your ability to work effectively with engineering, marketing and other internal business units to make sure client satisfaction goals are met will make you a star in this role.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Serve as primary point of contact for client and internal team
  • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Quickly identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Write and maintain project requirements
  • Manage project schedule
  • Set and manage client expectations

Graphic Designer

We're looking for a strong graphic designer to join the design team. We have a product across many devices and operating systems. You will support our product and marketing efforts. The right candidate will be willing to dig in, work independently, work quickly and effectively.

Experience / Skills Required

  • You are a master of design and communication
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe CS
  • Able to successfully manage all aspects of a project from start to finish
  • Must be self-motivated, a good communicator, comfortable following direction, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines
  • Able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team
  • IAB advertising design

Bonus points for experience in the following:

  • Icon design
  • Analytic / Infographic design
  • Experience designing social products
  • TV network graphic experience

Responsibilities

  • Work on various web, mobile and tablet application interfaces
  • Create designs, icons and layouts that adhere to and extend the app
  • Work closely with marketing and content teams to deliver polished final product
  • Evangelize new interface guidelines and design patterns
  • Thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, agile environment

Social TV Customer Support Advocate

We are building a team that will provide Best-In-Class service to our Viewsers (television viewers + mobile app users.) We are looking for two new team members who love the idea of Social TV and want to be part of creating a successful innovative service. In this role you will respond to technical and non-technical queries in a number of possible formats (email, phone, live chat, social media, blog posts, etc.) We will take things one step further and proactively monitor and engage with users outside the traditional Customer Support query system. You will truly be an Advocate for ConnecTV making sure our users get the very best support.

  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Technical service background supporting software, internet, mobile apps or other relevant products
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills with English required. Fluency in a second language is a plus.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle high pressure or difficult situations with poise
  • Consistent attendance & timeliness is essential. You must have a strong work ethic and desire to meet deadlines and obligations.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment, preferably a start-up environment.
  • Passion for TV and Social Media. Previous customer service experience with other social media sites is a plus.
